Refund Policy
The Pieper Guarantee
Pieper will guarantee that each student in its Full Bar Review Course who takes the UBE for the first time will pass the exam on the first try. In the event that such a student does not succeed on the exam, he or she will be entitled to repeat Pieper’s Classic Full Bar Review Course free of charge for the next administration of the exam.
This offer is not applicable to students who have previously taken the exam or students who have previously prepared for the exam with Pieper or another bar review company and qualify for Pieper’s repeater price rates.
Full Bar Review Course
The first $50 paid to Pieper Bar Review constitutes a non-refundable deposit, but the rest of any payments that have been applied are refundable prior to the start of classes. Once classes have begun, if a candidate wishes to withdraw from the course, he/she must return his/her admission card to our office and a refund will be issued as follows:
- Lectures 1 through 5: 2/3 of monies paid
- Lectures 6 through 10: 1/2 of monies paid
- Lectures 11 through 15: 1/3 of monies paid
- After Lecture 15: No Refunds
The admission card will be deemed returned upon the date of the postmark on the envelope in which the card is returned if the candidate has ceased attending lectures.
Concentrated Review
The first $50 paid to Pieper Bar Review constitutes a non-refundable deposit. A full refund will be issued prior to the start of the first class. Once classes have begun, if a candidate wishes to withdraw from the course, he/she must return his/her admission card to our office and a refund will be issued as follows:
- Before Class 2: 75% of money paid
- Before Class 3: 50% of money paid
- After Class 3: No refunds
Full Service Tutoring AND A La Carte Tutoring
Non-Refundable Retainer. The Candidate understands that the purpose of providing a Non-Refundable Retainer is that the Tutor has accepted the Candidate in lieu of other ready, willing and able candidates. The Candidate understands that the Non-Refundable Retainer enables the Tutor to select the maximum number of candidates to whom the Tutor can provide complete and thorough assistance given the Tutor’s limited availability.
Supplemental Essay Writing Program AND UBE Review
The Pieper Supplemental Essay Program has limited enrollment. The student understands that Pieper may accept your enrollment in lieu of other students who are ready, willing and able to participate in the program. Therefore, once the Supplemental Essay Program materials have been distributed to the student by Pieper, in a manner and method determined by Pieper, tuition for the Supplemental Essay Program will not be refunded. Your non-refundable tuition may not be applied towards the purchase of any other Pieper Bar Review course or program.
